Pre/Post Market
What moved before the bell, and what is still moving after it.

What it does
Live-ranked top gappers in both directions through pre-market and after-hours, with sector heat and range context on every mover — plus an AI-written Morning Brief each trading morning covering the market narrative, the economic calendar with importance ratings, and overnight headlines.
The strategy it serves
Preparation, not entry. It answers the first question of the morning — which names are actually in play today — and hands names straight into the other scanners in one click. Coverage runs from early pre-market to the end of post-market.
What it reads
- ·Top gappers ranked live, both directions
- ·Sector heat across the market
- ·Range context for every mover
- ·An AI-written Morning Brief: narrative, econ calendar, overnight headlines
- ·One-click handoff of a name into the other scanners
Built to be the best hour of research a trader does all day
Most scanners are neutral. They hand you every name that moved and leave the judgement to you, at the hour of the morning when you have the least time for it. This one is opinionated on purpose. What it ranks, what it flags, and what it quietly leaves at the bottom of the board comes from more than thirty years of a discretionary desk deciding what is worth a trader's attention before the bell.
Regular-session scanners go quiet at 4:00 PM. The move that decides your morning usually does not.
Coverage runs through after-hours and pre-market, and the board is live from 4:00 AM ET.
It sizes the move against the stock, not against the market
A 3% gap on a name that normally moves 1% is the whole story. The same 3% on a name that swings 5% a day is noise. Every row is ranked with that already accounted for, so the top of the board is not simply the biggest percentages.

It tells you who is actually in the name
Volume can be three block prints. The board separates how much traded from how many hands traded it, and shows whether participation is building or draining right now. On the chart you can see whether the move was size stepping in, or thousands of small orders following each other.

A written brief, on your screen before 8:30
The overnight narrative, what gapped, which sectors are taking money, and the headlines that explain it. Every ticker in it is one tap onto your watchlist. It regenerates through the morning, so the read you get at 9:15 is not the one from an hour earlier.

It also tells you when not to trust it. A large gap with thin participation behind it gets marked as exactly that, because the desk learned the expensive way that those often do not survive the first minute of the session.
Then it hands the names to the rest of the desk. One click sets the watchlist every other TrueTrader scanner filters on, so the tools you use during the session spend it on your list instead of the whole market.
A scanner is not a signal service
It tells you where to look. What to do when you get there is the part that takes judgement, which is why the desk trades live every morning with the same tools open, talking through what they are taking and what they are passing on.
Trading carries real risk and most people who try it lose money. Nothing here is advice.
