The same short worked on the third attempt

Intel was shorted into the same zone three times on our desk, twice for small stops and once for the run that paid for both, with the stop trailed down as lower highs formed. Nvidia was worked long off a retracement level in a series of re-entries, two of which scaled out, with stops pulled to entry ahead of the Fed chair's 10am remarks.

The 1h 09m session is on the other side of this.

Everything above is the write-up. This is the morning itself, with the names on every call and the room talking through it.

Intel set up between the prior day's high and close early, and the first short got kicked almost immediately. The second went in a few minutes later with a stop tightened mid-trade as a higher low formed, and that one got kicked too. The third fill was the same idea in the same place, and this time it went — scaled out in pieces into a prior-day congestion zone, including one partial fill that took maybe two percent of the position and left the rest working. The stop was trailed above each new lower high rather than left wide, so the give-back on the exit was small.

“Every time that I missed is because I was waiting for the most optimal price.”

A day of misses turns into a lesson: chasing the perfect price costs you, and resilience matters more than being a robot.

Nvidia was the other name, and it was run as a sequence rather than a single position. The first long stopped under a whole number. The next one got half out for a decent move, then went to break even and closed flat, which was a deliberate choice: there was no interest in holding size through a scheduled speech. After the news passed, the same level was taken again, stopped once more, and then re-entered lower at a weekly pivot, which scaled out in thirds.

Nothing else got traded. Amazon and Google had resting orders that never filled and were cancelled; the Walmart idea was a swing, sized on a tight stop under the daily lows and left alone. A quiet watchlist and two names worked properly is a fair description of the morning.

Net points are per share. Apply your own size to get your own number: at 1,000 shares, 0.37 points is $370.00. At 100 shares it is $37.00. At one share it is $0.37. The desk publishes the move, not a dollar result, because the dollars depend entirely on how you size, and that is your decision rather than ours.
